We have just learned in the last few days that a new variant of the COVID-19 pandemic should be the newest reason we look to the government autocrats to save the day. It seems that with another variant comes another reaction.
The latest variant, ‘OMICRON,’ comes from Southern Africa. In response to this outbreak, the Biden administration restricted travel to seven (7) African countries to prevent the spread. CNBC reports on this with absolutely none of the accusations of racism their parent company reported on President Trump’s move to ban only six (6) African countries during the beginning of this pandemic. Albeit, they held consistency with their parent company by going after President Trump and his ‘racial provocations’ since the beginning of his administration.
Somehow the NCAAP is completely silent on this while unironically silent when President Biden went on about, “…the great negro,” during a speech just earlier this month (See video below).

Returning to the OMICRON variant, CNBC reports that the South African doctor who reported the variant is reporting that symptoms are mild. The report concludes with commentary from someone not directly related to treating this new variant, Paul Hunter, professor of medicine at he Norwich School of Medicine at the University of East Anglia. Specifically, Mr. Hunter provides pure speculation saying, “Maybe that’s because it’s reinfecting people who have already got some degree of immunity,” he added. “If it generally is causing mild disease and if, as I suspect, the booster campaign will go a long way to still reduce hospitalizations and deaths, hopefully we won’t have to live under restrictions again.”
It seems that the formula for our mainstream media’s response to a new variant is partly determined in how effective they can attribute racial motivation if the President is a Republican or how much panic they can induce if they’re a Democrat.
